James and Yolanda have been artists since childhood and in 1988 we met and later married. James’ style is a mixture of realism and mannerism. Mannerism was a style developed during the 16th century that emphasizes emotion and distortion. He also has a desire to show African-Americans in a positive light –especially the African-American man. Yolanda is an abstract artist who arranges vibrant colors into pleasing compositions. Our styles are different but they come together through the display of God’s word in every piece of artwork that we produce.

Some may say that they are artists who happen to be Christians but we are Christians who happen to be artists unto the Lord.
